We love diving and we want to share our excitement and experience with you. We can make learning to dive a fun and enjoyable experience. We concentrate our efforts on our outstanding entry level Open Water Scuba Certification courses, but we also offer a wide range of advanced training classes. |
ENTRY LEVEL OPEN WATER SCUBA COURSES
Learn the basics in an easy and thorough IANTD scuba course with expert and experienced instructors. We feel strongly that this course will prepare you to safely and competently enjoy MAKING BUBBLES for years to come. Courses offered regularly at four locations in WV and OH.

OPEN WATER TRAINING WEEKENDS (by reservation only)(at Portage Quarry, Bowling Green, OH)
Open Water course includes nine four hour classroom and pool sessions, four Open Water training dives, scuba gear for use in pool and Open Water sessions, and IANTD certification upon successful completion of the course.
ADVANCED & SPECIALTY COURSES
Divers are always learning. Our Advanced and Specialty courses allow us to share our years of continuing education and diving experience with you. Courses offered regularly. Check with the shop for dates and times!
SLAM (TBA)- Scuba Lifesaving and Accident Management The premier dive rescue course. Learn how to prevent dive accidents from happening by being cognizant of the situation. When an accident does happen learn how to assess the situation and decide on the best course of action. Learn rescue techniques which may save a victim. Learn proper evacuation procedures. This is an excellent class to take upon completion of you Open Water training. Call for details!
Advanced Open Water Course (TBA) Continue your dive training by enrolling in our Advanced course. Learn advanced dive techniques by participating in several advanced seminars. Night Diving, Deep Diving, Search & Recovery, Cold Water Diving, Boat Diving, Environment, and Underwater Navigation are required seminars for Advanced certification. Computer Assisted Multi-Level Diving, U/W Photography, and Equipment are additional sessions you might enjoy.
DAN O2 Provider Course (TBA) Proper administration of Oxygen is very beneficial in several dive accident scenarios. This course trains the diver and gives him practice in administering Oxygen in the correct way.
U/W Photography Course All of us like to share the beauty of the underwater world with our non-diving friends and relatives. A great way to do this is through underwater photography. Pictures, slides and video help us show others the environment we enjoy so much. Getting good pictures and video is not easy. Let our experts show you how!
Search and
Recovery Course Learn the tips and tricks of Search
and Recovery diving that will help you conduct a successful S&R operation. Great for
fire department and rescue personnel.
Cavern
Diving Course TBA. Special training is
required to explore any overhead environment underwater. This course prepares the diver
for exploring the cavern zone of underwater caves safely and enjoyably. This course is a
pre-requisite for further Cave Diving training.
Wreck Diving Course Learn proper wreck diving procedures so you can safely enjoy diving the wrecks at your favorite dive destinations.
Nitrox Diver Course (TBA) Special training is required to use special air mixtures which have been proven to increase diver safety. This course prepares the diver to use Nitrox mixtures properly and safely. IANTD and YMCA certifications available!
